Unit 57 Photography and photographic Practice
Architecture Photography Proposal
Purpose
My main purpose for my architecture photography is going to
be done in Nottingham. This is then going to be exhibited in the gallery at
Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College.
Audience
The intended audience is going to be aimed at people who
like Architecture photographs and photography in general. I’m aiming it at
these types of people parasitically because not a lot of people are interested
in architecture photographs so it narrows the range of people.
Concept
The concept of the architecture photography is going to be
pictures of close up of building of Nottingham city the shots are going to be
mainly extreme close ups and close ups of the building and the history of
Nottingham. The photographs are going to be similar to/9/
`
landscape is going to be based on the beach; the images are
going to be of the sea and the beach. They are going to be wide shot angles so
that you see as much as possible of the landscape. There is going to be sand
and water in the shot. The image is going to be really simple but effective.
Location
The location of the shots that I’m going to be taken is
going to be shot, in Nottingham, the reason I chosen this location is because
it’s old and the building were really unique compared to building in Manchester
I wanted to explore a different town and capture the city in my eyes.
Quantity
The size of the photograph of two of them will be 7x12
photographs, the other ones will be 7x5 and there will be 4 of them. There will
be 4 of them on an A1 black page. I want to have them at this size because you
will see the attention to detail and the sharpness of the photograph in each one.
Usage rights
The photographs will be used in a gallery or to get sold on
a canvas, because this is where I will find my target audience.
Fees
The train fair will cost £26.50 for a return from
Nottingham. I will also have to rent a SLR camera which is £100 to hire and
then £40 per day, the size of the photographs which I will be printing off will
cost about £8 altogether.
