Fashion Photography Proposal

Purpose

My purpose is going to be fashion; it’s going to be a fashion shoot, at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College. Which is then going to exhibited in the gallery.

Audience

The intended audience I want to aim my fashion photographs at are women aged 16- 30, the reason for this is because young adults like the latest fashion and the women, ad how slim they are. I’m not aiming it at men pacifically because a lot of men don’t read about fashion and look at fashion photography; it’s more aimed at women.

Concept

The content of the fashion is going to be taking photos of a model who is going to have clothing and advertising the clothes. The lighting of the photos will be really bright background, the shots will be medium shots and long shots of the model, and so you can see the clothing. There is going to be a couple of objects in the shot like mop buckets ect.

Location

The location of the Photo shoot will be at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College, because they have all the facilities there, which I need such as the lights and tripod and the SLR camera, they also have a white sheet background, which is good for taking photographs.

Quantity

The size of the photographs will be about an A4 photographs there will be 3 of them on an A1 page. I want to have them at this size because you will see the attention to detail and the sharpness of the photograph.

Usage Rights

The photographs will be used in a magazine in a shop or the latest fashion update because it’s what my target audience reads.  

Fees

I will have to rent a SLR camera which is £100 to hire and then £40 per day, the model I will be hiring will cost over £160 per day, and my cost will be £140 for 8 hours work.
