Activity 2
produce a variety of 10 photographs that utilise the rule of thirds in there composition.
This is a picture of a railing which I took on the way up to Hyde. I haven't done much to the picture to make it level with the grid. I rotated the image to make the top of the rails level with line between the first third and the second third. What I would do to make it more perfect is the angle of the picture as you can see the first column of the picture is off the image a little, also I could of put it a little higher so it level with the line.
With this image, I tried putting the bike in the third column, how I did this was I scaled the image so that the bike lined up, I also did it so that the pedal lined up with the first third. What I could of done differently is I could of made the bike larger so that it went into the second third. What I also tried to do was level the pavement up the second and third.

This image I tried to caputure what it looks like from a cans prospective. To get it to fit the third column I had to enlarge the image by scaling it and holding the shift key. I also lined the can up so that the edge of the can was on the first line of the third. I also lined the mug on the can to fit with the second line as well. I really like this picture because it different.
This is an image of a ash tray at someones house, I thought it was a really nice and unique photograph because how really simple it looks. What I did to this picture to get it in the rules of third was I enlarged the image, and made the tip of the ashtray square box on the level of the line on the first rule. I also levelled out the key hole so that it fitted with in the top right hand corner of the photograph. I also did a bit or colour correct on the image to make it less dirty.
With this photograph I put it into photoshop and tried to make the image to look like it in in the line of thirds. I don't think this is a very good example of a line of thirds because the only thing that is level with it, is the basket, which is in the centre of the 2 thirds.

I really like this image, I like how the line of the bin lines up to the bottom of the 3rd line. This image is really simple but it looks really good i didn't have to do much on this image all I did was line the image up and zoomed in a little bit.
This image was took on the way up to Hyde it was near a field, I wasn't suppose to take this picture but I really liked how simple it looked. What I did with this image was I levelled it out, what I forgot to do with this image was put it in-front of the other line because you can't see the 2nd and 3rd third, that much because of the lighting in the background. I think what I should of done with this image if I did again was line it up with the barbed wire. Which will then line up with the line of the field.
I really like this image of a bin, even though it's unusual, I tried lining the can opener to centre of can. I didn't have to do much of movement on photoshop on this image, I just had to alternate the angle of photograph, and line it up.
This image is really simple I like how white the image is. What I did was line it up with the first line, which was the centre of the the light. I really like how its on the right hand side of the photograph instead of being in the middle.
